Hey hey.

I have been loosing a fare amount of oil latelty and i didnt know why. I pulled of my distibutor cap today and found there is oil inside and behind the distibutor. It leaks down onto my exhaust which smokes and smell like s*&^T. Just wondering has this happend to anyone else and how much it costs to fix. Do i have to get my distributor reconditioned? Im not sure what to do. Cheers

If it is just leeking oil out from the seal just replace the o ring and make sure you get it back on the same tooth allocation when you put it back in if it's spittin' oil inside the distributor, replace it; simple.

nearly every 4age dizzy leaks. it isnt the o-ring that seals the dissy to the head it is the seal that seals the centre shaft from oil that leaks.
