circuit club days are alright if you're still new to the track, but best value for money i've had has been through the ones on toymods posted up by GT. You end up getting a hell of a lot more track time for similar money to the circuit club days. Only catch is no timing.. but i wasn't always interested in that side of things. Once i cracked a 1:20 with my old car i wasn't fussed about timing since that was always the goal on street tyres.

yeah i've seen them.... although im still keen to get my times! haha
been trying to find a cheapish lap timer that i could use.... any suggestions anybody?
that pic was from last time down there. was the first time on semis and was getting consistant 120's... hoping to get to 118's with current setup.

i used my RSM in the corolla.. not 100% accurate but had someone on the wall with a stopwatch aswell and just split the difference
as for cheap lap timers check out ebay. one guy on another forum recommended these ones - http://www.longacrer...st.asp?catid=10
the other catch with the circuit club days is the amount of traffic. If you go to a toymods one and setup a transponder on the wall it's no real issue. When it gets to around lunchtime you'll be lucky to see more than 3-4 cars on the track for around an hour so you get a lot of clean laps in.
