Nope, the standard car globe (twin fillament) is used in the Across. I don't recall what their called but they are very common. It's worthwhile going to a Narva 50+ as they make a big difference compared to the stock globe.

Don't bother with LED's inside the instrument cluster
I got some bright white wide angle T3 or T4 can't remember and it didn't make an ounce of difference at all.
The dials don't let much light through and there are little metal shrouds that cover the original candescent bulbs that stops direct light from shining up onto the clear instrument covers from the sides. Hard to explain what I'm talking about, but they're there for a reason, but I had to remove them and make some paper covers to soften the LEDs as the metal ones just block most light out....... and well it was a waste of time for no real gain. I was going to fill the cluster up with a whole heap of them, but it would probably end up being too bright and distracting.
Just check that the four backlights are working, they're sufficient enough. Remember you don't need to pull the whole thing apart to get to them, they are held in by rubber grommets on the back.
