One of the best tracks on the calendar. Let's see how this race unfolds...
[EDIT]
Race is now over. I dozed off for a tiny bit but woke to see Hamilton with a blown tire. I almost thought that he'd be out but with Hamilton's luck he limped it to the pits where lesser mortals may have dropped out. It was good to see Toyota and Renault having a go (namely Renault who did lead the race for a tiny bit). Even better to see Ferrari cleaning it up a bit. If things keep playing out this way we could have an extremely close world championship this year which will, without a doubt, make for some seriously intense racing.

I too fell asleep; saw all the way up till 8 laps to go, then dozed, then saw 3 laps to go, then it was all over hahaha.
I love the circuit too; the triple-apex turn 8 is my fav of the season, its full-on 4 lateral G's for 7seconds. just crazy!
A fairly uneventful race, except for Lewis' little misfortune (cant say I was disappointed in that though) was suprised to see Kubica go backwards all race, lost alot of ground after 1st pitstops and kept droppin off after that. Please to see Nico up in the points again too; and poor 'ol Webber cant catch a break still. Poor bastarrd was the only retirement all day hahaha

So the 4 of us combined I think we can say we've seen all of the race
Shame that the broadcasts get shifted over so much, technically they could have run it when Happy Gilmore was on but it seems it's more important they repeat a movie instead.
Anyway I'm starting to think Webber isn't the driver we all wish he was. While I'm all good for backing the Aussie, there's seems to be a consistency to his race retirements. Constantly I'm hearing "hydraulic failure" which usually would mean gearbox failure... Maybe he needs to practice timing those shifts? I mean he did change from one team to a completely different team and yet he's still facing the same problems. Even when he was with Jaguar he racked up 13 retirements in 2 seasons. Williams has so far had half the number of retirements as last year for it's lead driver (and 5 versus 14 total) since his departure. Something doesn't seem right.

I stayed up for the whole race, yay for me! I hear what you're saying about Webber's consistent retirements, but the thing with the gearbox is that it's a bloody F1 gearbox, it should be strong enough to handle whatever is thrown at it. DC is probably a little more gentle on the gearbox, but he's old and soft now, and Webber has out qualified him about a million to one.
