Always a great race on the F1 calendar the new Spa Francochamps didn't disappoint. Eau Rouge, what a corner... An action packed and violent start, some great middle-pack tussle between the BMWs and the Renaults. Hamilton is coming unstuck against the pace Ferrari set today. If trend stays this way it could get very nasty as the end draws near.

Great track, great race - cant wait to be there for it next year....

Yes a spiteful encounter between the macca's and a bit of biff n barge is not far off I suspect... Alonso near turned into Hamilton at turn 1, he certainly let his car drift to the outside of the circuit, I wish Hamilton had been able to stick next to him thru Eau Rouge and they have a massive accident and then punch-on haha.

Pleased to see the Ferrari's were way too quick out front.

Congrat's to Red Bull for getting Webbers car to the finish. and to Webber for maintaining his grid position and finishing a respectable 7th. Another great drive from little Nico Rosberg almost mixing it with th bigboys in a far enferior car. Storming drive from Kubica from way down the grid to almost snatch a point & a flash of brilliance from Adrian Sutil before he went back to falling off the track and finish nowhere as usual.

I still think Hamilton & Alonso have got it in the bag over Raikkinen; but there is a glimmer of hope still

Hamilton is still 2 points ahead.

Did anyone else lose respect for Alonso? From what I understand: he threatens Ron Dennis on the terms that Lewis leaves the team or he dobs in McLaren to the FIA (black mail anyone?) Gets himself immunity, whlist McLaren pay 100 million. All the messages from him show that he knows of, and wants to test the "secret" Ferrari data. I would to be a team mate of Alonso, let alone a rival.

Yes definately; I heard that too. Dodgy bastard he is, getting immunity in exchange for info to fark the team over proper.
It was also confirmed that he will be leaving Mclaren at the end of season; so that throws the 'silly season' into mayhem.... tradeweek will be very interesting. Hopefully the prick ends up at Toyota or somewhere shithouse or better yet, all teams leave him out & make him sit out a season :furious:

Not a bad race, good that the title fight is still so close. Some good moves from Webber, Sutil and Kubica. If only Trulli could get a decent start to go with his awesome qualifying he might be able to get some points. Knowing Ferrari, now that Massa is out of it and they've wrapped up the championship, I wonder if they will now use Massa to disrupt McLaren so Kimi can catch them up.

Well at least we can agree on something, Alonso is a douche. But there's always going to be someone who'll pay for him. He'll either go back to renault or toyota will grab him.

Ill put money on that Alonso sits out for one year.

Hes gone and decided to screw over his team, his in a contract, I hope McLaren brings out all their legal powers to screw him over. Its just bad that Ron Dennis has already said that Alonso is free to leave the team.

Personally I'd like to see him go back to Renault and see if they can be as competitive again as they were in previous years. It'd be great to have more than 2 constructors winning all the races.
