Fingers crossed for a good outcome for Webber.

So we might be looking at this kind of team board for 2008:
McLaren - Kovalainen
Renault - Webber
Red Bull - Alonso
That is strange to look at, but why not, it's F1 and when it comes to driver/team combos, anything goes! Maybe we might see another Damon Hill in the Arrows giving the front a run for their money - hopefully with somewhat more success too.
If Webber goes to Renault lets make bets on how long before he's out with a "Hydraulics Failure"

Renault - Kovalinon/Alonso (Fischicella out perhaps to bmw to replace rosberg?)
Red Bull - Webber/Coulthard

All the input in the world from a driver won't fix the fact that the team doesn't know how to completely fix the problem. It's a rare thing in F1 for a team to not know what a problem is - more often than not, they just can't fix it.
Oh, and Webber seems to know the meaning of quickness quite well when it comes to qualifying. In just about every race he's ever been in he's out-qualified his team-mate (and when your team-mate this season is DC, that at least adds some credentials)
