sounds all good i'll love to hear that thing scream in real life but wats with the stocky headers you need all that air thats going to go back out easily
with betta flow with the amount of work u should be getting more power and i reckon if u ballanced everything you should be able to rev much harder.

It is balanced :)

I've been looking for headers for ages :( I can't find any that are stocked or able to get off the shelf. I have seen some
4 into 1 headers but there like $1400 at trade price :(

If I could get all the TRD SPEC Header measurements I would be happy as I could get it made up :)

I do have a video, but excuse the quality its off my crappy camera phone.

Thanks :)

It cost me around $4000 to do the engine work at trade price. The engine building aint hard, just take your time and source your parts correctly.
If you need any guides feel free to ask, I've done a few 4age's in my time as a mechanic :)

nice to see 20V n/a builds. what compression pistons are you using? 105fwkw seemed kind of low, but your running some fairly mild cams, so you should have a much broader powerband? whered you get the trumpets?

Before when it was standard it only had 85kw @ FW so it was 20kw gain, major let down is a 2" Press Bend Exhaust with a 2.5" Mandrel System and a 3" High Flow cat, id see some improvement.

I live in Wollongong, my mate lives in Waverly (near Krispy Kremes). We used to work together, but I left mechanics he continued. I got the pistons from Serco Distributors in QLD, and directly imported the camshafts myself from TODA. Tweakit.net and ADVAN also sell them to, but expect a bit of tax on there behalf :)

yerr i have a 2.5" stainless steel mandrel bent system all the way through inc a 2.5" high flow cat, i really felt the difference after... its alot more responsive, and with a stainless steel rear muffler keeps the noise down alot :D

man id love 2 c some more pics of the car... inside and out

also how bout that dyno sheet?? :D

Ram tubes my mate made them. He is a metal fabricator. I can get them made for people for around $200 a set. They aren't polished but a bit of elbow grease and its done :)

I used to work in Cambelltown as a Mechanic for family, got over it and moved to IT lol :)
I only do stuff on projects I like. For example 4AGE's and pretty much most VTEC Engines

Most the work I carry out from home or a mates in Sydney.

Im using 11.5:1 comp pistons, timing is retarded and its tuned on street fuel. I reckon on decent race fuel (BP 100) I could squeeze 5-6KW from timing. Main purpose of building it was to leave the VVT engaged. Anything more I would have to disable it.

If you want full raw power, 304 degree cams and 11mm lift and adjustable cam gears would see the power I think your expecting :)

Standard G/Box rebuilt with AE111 Synchros as they are all Ceramic Coated, AE101 are just 1st and 2nd

I would really really really really love 4:11 diff gears and a LSD would be handy :)

To the peeps asking about the tail lights, I found them at Wollongong Auto Supplies, they had a set there for sale.. Got them for $85 :)
