What an interesting start to the new season, so many retirements, many of them being due to stupid errors.
In this wonderful heat I think Melbourne doesn't really have much to bargain with in terms of night races.
I found David Coulthard's anger after colliding with Massa pretty funny, but I didn't actually hear what he said (some idiot in a loud car roared past just as he said it) did anyone catch it?
EDIT: "..if he he doesn't, I'm gonna kick three colours of s##t outta little bastard" Thank you Ten news! Hahahahaha

I've always loved Coulthard hot temper, even in the old PS1 F1 games, when you checked his Bo, it says he has a bad temper and is a very aggressive racer.

Certainly was an interesting race. It was like a different Kimi out there, nowhere near the usual iceman, I guess he's not quite back into the flow yet. I was really dissapointed for Bourdais, 2 laps from picking up a 4th on debut, but at least he got some points. Pity about the toyotas too, but at least they showed some pace.

It was good to see them driving without all the electronic aids. They were all over the place. I noticed that a few cars got totally destroyed from such "small" impacts, see Coulthard. A few feet in the air, lands, the front-left of the car shatters.
Bummer about Webber though. He can't go anywhere without retiring.
Barrichello was disqualified too.

I think it was a shame about Bourdais too, he didn't qualify too well. It makes me wonder how well he'd have done if there had not been so many outs. As for Kimi, he's probably still drunk from celebrating last year's win. Massa isn't doing as well as I had expected post Shumacher either, if there continues to be more bumbling like this we may just see some Red Bulls or BMWs taking the checkered flag this year. I do have to credit BMW, they have put on a tidy show so far.

interesting race from a spectator point of view, but in reality a lot of the teams out there would be going "how the f##k did we screw that up so badly?"
