cheers guys

k3v!n. Pretty much the best i could explain in the previous posts. The only headache you will experience is getting the heater controls forward of the lip that keeps it in place. Just tug it hard in an upward motion to get it out of the slot. Then take twist out the bulb and replace. While doing so change to either to LED style bulb or light cover.

Yeah, the rockers look sweet.

How did you paint them? (as in, paint type, coats, primer etc?)
How did you mask off the lettering?

hey Mark,

I sanded down the paint as much as i could then hit it with an entire can of brake cleaner. You use paint stripper and the likes too. Then got some high temp paint for metals @ Bunnings and sprayed it. There's probably a good 6 coats on there.

Just some points i learnt when doing it:
Mask of the breather hose for a cleaner finish
After you've finished painting, let it dry completely. Get out some masking tape and mask around the numbers and words. Get out a medium grit sandpaper and sand down the words/numbers for the silver finish. I have scratches on mine because i didn't tape the first one i did.

hope that helps

P.S those euro lights are killing me lol

Nice, thanks for that.
Did the lettering end up scratched? or is it a smooth finish?

Moneys in, lights will be hitting the post office tomorrow ;)

Mark, they have small scratches because the previous owner used a slightly more abrasive sand papeer but it came out alright. There is slight scratches on the red paint 'cause i forgot to mask of the first cam while sanding it.

brent, it'll get fitted when i replace the valve stem seals and install big port cams.

LOL! stezzo wheel, Mike you crack me up. When the economy goes into happy zone again, i'll buy another from Japan and i'll sell you mine - if you want it.

Japan. And i wouldn't recommend a +35 offset on a lowered car, unless your willing to have your guards modified ect.

cheers guys

Finally got round to getting shots of the exhaust

They are RS*R 4-2-1 headers and front pipe from Japan. Welds are impeccable. X-Force twin tip muffler and used Catco high flow cat i bought locally. They won't go on for some time as i'm in the process of buying a Small port head and having it worked.

Might even sell the exhaust gear if there's a decent offer :P

Got some interior pics now that i got my fixed back bucket seat intalled

Posted Image

Posted Image
It's a replica of the RECARO SPG fixed back seat but made by Malaysian brand SSCUS. Checked out their website and it seems all good. Very happy with it overall.

Posted Image
Seat is fitted to super low Wisteria rails. Made in Japan and straight bolt in fit.

Posted Image
JDM AE92 Corolla floor mats. Was bought as a set of 5 including floor mats for the front as well.

Posted Image
TOM'S gearknob and Honda EK type R gearboot modified to fit.
