Is someone able to help me out with the specs of the drive belts i need. I'm looking for the lengths as I think Toyota OEM will be $$$ let alone have the parts in stock....I know they're 5PK, but length?

I have the Supercharger belt ok. Just need the following. (Its a FWD AE92 bigport if that makes a difference).:-

1. Power Steer/Compressor belt. 5PK or 4PK...?

2. Alternator/Crank/Compressor belt. 5PK...?

(Sorry, during the engine build the dog ate the belts and I cant install the A/C until I put the engine back into the car so I cant measure up belt lengths).

Ok, after searching for awhile I found the alt/compressor/crank belt, its a 5PK975. If a random website tells me this, it must be true ;-P

Still after the Power Steer/Compressor belt. Google ain't playing ball in finding it...

Can anyone help out?

Will be 975 or 980 for the S/C if you've got a bigger crank pulley. I believe i used 2x980's last time I replaced them

5pk945 is spot on for the sc and water pump. 5pk975 is perfect for a afm gze (larger sc pulley) with 175mm oversize crank pulley. this allows room for tightening and loosening, found trouble with the 5pk980 etc (oh i forgot thats also using a 4ag timing belt idler as the idler for the sc belts).

i also highly HIGHLY recommend getting a GATES belt. very limited belt slip from these belts. my mate suffered heaps from other generic (even toyota) belts, even when using "no slip" spray on th belts

5kp975 not 575 haha

best reason ever

I have a question for you: Do you / will you run the ac? or are you only using it as a pully to run the power steering?

BTW all toyota belts are $43.08 but as soon as you say its a modified import they'll probably not help you. i'll sell the to you for $27.95 ea. If you have problems pm me or email, i'll help you out.

Yes, will be running a.c.

Got the belts ordered last week from the internet, some Melb based store.

It was around 25 bucks each for a 975 and 990 5pk bosch and 18 for the 4pk p.steer dayco.

Will see how it goes when I eventually get my motor running.......

I just installed the belts I listed onto my AE101 GZE.
Now my boost is more solid and I gained an extra 1/2 psi. :)

might also want to mention that you'd want a belt that gives you a bit of play (loosen and tightening) with the belt as the belt may stretch over time and if its too long, you don't have enough room to tighten the sucker. i had that problem with a 5pk980(?) belt (with small idler and 175mm crank), sucks driving around with the belt slipping haha.

Yep. One belt of mine i measured with string. Got the shortest belt that I could fit by hand with the tension adjuster slacked right out....

Same as a ae82 twincam timing belt kit..

Doesn't matter if it is AC or not...that does not effect the timing belt
