Hello

Does anyone know of a mechanic/workshop in Melbourne that is actually GOOD and not a bunch of hacks? I actually value the quality of the work more than the cost. Also knowledge and experience with Toyotas and 4AGE's would be favourite.

It's just that i've been to so many workshops that have all so far been well below my expectations....

Cheers
Dave

Woah late reply but i just found this forum from rollaclub :P

I can highly recommend Link Automotive in Nunawading, Melbourne. Recently took my 4age twin cam there, VERY experienced. Two older guys who have been in the busy for years, they rebuilt our Mini engine a few years ago too. Anyways when we took the 4age there, it was for a check up to see where it was leaking oil, and they gave us a no bullcrap service, told us look this is whats wrong, you can fix it youself for cheaper and charged us $40 for looking at the car the whole day!!

You want to speak to Toby Hunt...he is a member of this forum, an ex employee of Meridian Motorsport, and the expert when it comes to anything 4A related...or any Toyota in general.
You can get him via email on tobyhunt1@optusnet.com.au or if you want to call him, pm me and I will send you his number.
