All ok. I figured it out... Must have been all the petrol fumes from the split fuel line I repaired earlier.
In case you were wondering. If you have the needles at their second to top setting (second leanest setting if i'm right) the needles will be 34mm.
They are on my bike anyway. Last person who had my bike attempted to super glue the holders in. Which meant the new ones didnt sit quite right.
