dial not worlin oil pressure dial thingy stoppep workin the last dial Rate Topic: -----

all dials are working all dashboards lights are workin but this oil dial is not workin any suggestions??

its a sx dash with a 20v motor

Pressure sender is f##ked, or you've got no oil pressure (which is really bad).

Pressure sender switch on the 20V does not match the SX gauge dial. It makes it work funny. Check that the wire is connected. It is in a bitch spot under the exh mani.

argh stuff it lol i think its just the dial because oil is all good and the cr is running like a dream

change the oil pressure switch from the 20v to 16v and u should see the dial work :)

exactly, the oil pressure sender needs to be the original sx one, the 20v one is just an idiot light not a gauge, its got nothing to do with the condition of the oil or wether your car is running like a dream.

u can buy oem spec 16v replacement ones for $50 or so too ;) Tridon makes them - TPS004

Hi there so dose that go for the water temp sensor as well i have a ae92 sx with the silver top 20v and my oil and temp sensors are not working ill swap the oil to the 16v when i find one but the water gauge goes to full and thats it any ideas sensor not compatible with dash or a bad earth by the way where are the body earths for stuff like that are they in the cabin or in the engine bay

Thanks any help would be great.

This should not be a similar issue to the Oil pressure sender. Look for a disconnected wire somewhere.
