That is the Victorian Roadworthy guide from vicroads, i would think if we could get each state and a link to the associated page would help a few people out in need. would just be good to have on the forums

im currently doing some research for rules and regulations for nsw.
here is a link of all the amendments that cars get checked for etc when being engineered/inspected etc. all the codes and there respective meaning are on page 8 and 9 but the whole document is good to ready to see the paper work they fill out etc.
http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/registration/dow...me_nov_2007.pdf
And below is a list of categories to which what type of mods can be done to that section of car being body, brakes, seating and suspension... the link nsw people need to read
http://www.infrastructure.gov.au/roads/veh...n/vsb_ncop.aspx
So say you want to find out about roll cages.. this is what you do...
go to the first link scroll through the Modification codes for light vehicles and you will find that LK6 applies to Roll Bar/Cage Installation / Design
then go to the second link and find section LK nd there you all set out for you to read.
note: just did this and the second link refers to roll cages as lk8 see how confusing this is.. also remember for cars built after july 1988 have to comply to the third edition of ADR's.
