Anyone with an AE95 want to share their engine temperatures witth me? Idling in taffic heats up alot and I think that causes an electrical problem where my engine wont turn over, I have to wait for it to cool down for 30 minutes, then it starts like new. There's nothing mechanically wrong with the car.

Coolants fine, new radiator and hoses so it doesnt leak anything, but I'm starting to suspect that it is the thermostat... Just really annoying being stuck in one place while I wait for it to cool down. It only happens on 35 degree days though, other than that it runs perfectly.

Check your starter motor, they often will do this when they get old. Could be time for a starter motor replacement or rebuild.

Checked your starter motor? It'll be that or the wiring to it.
