Hey Guys,
Not sure how to explain this one but do you know the painted black, metal parts around your car, like around the windscreen and doors and all that. Well, mine have started to fade and I want to get them looking shiny and nice again.
Does anyone know what/how I should go about doing this?
Cheers!

meguiars make a product i think its called plastic x or something like that, you apply it with a buffing pad then buff it off with a polishing cloth, works wonders.

Use a metal polish for metals. You will find them at your local Autobarn, Supercheap, Repco, etc.

Just FYI, I have actually been using my Meguires tyre shine on the blacks. Looks great, just got to apply it carefully and make sure you cleany wipe off the excess. Problem is, it doesn't last very long!

there are certain painted black metal trim pieces that will often fade. They were originally a gloss colour and you will find that some cars suffer from paint flaking off. The reason this happened is because the metal underneath is actually chromed, Toyota have used this quite a bit throughout the 80s/90s.

If you are willing, you may even consider re-spraying just this area to bring up the shine.
