VIC vs NSW End Of Year track-day discussion

As there are alot of cars coming out of the woodwork and more tending to see some sort of circruit/track action, I thought I'd put up this thread for discussion as there seems to be a few interested in meeting up for an interstate battle (mainly the Sydneysiders). There are a few over on the JDMST forum as well. As this thread is mainly/purely focused on track work, I don't want any nongs randomly posting in this thread about putting their full-hektic Corolla's on the track. Like they say 'talk-the-talk, walk-the-walk', I'm not discouraging anyone but I too often see people who will say they'll come ect and then is a no-show. I'm hoping maybe a moderator can keep an eye on this thread to clean up any irrelevant clutter.
Anyway, on topic - which track and what months would suit everybody? Who's keen and thinks they would be ready? Really hoping to see some VIC guys out there.
I know that Winton Raceway has Tampered Motorsport days. There days have 5 to 6 groups with about 12 or so cars per group and each group does around 5 sessions which is ample track time. If the Sydney guys want to battle down here, then I can arrange with the organiser of Tampered Days to have one group solely for the Corolla battle, but we will need a minimum of 12 cars.
Anyway, back to you guys.
Fire away...

They are always held on a friday and there is always at least a months notice beforehand. Accom the night before and after for $30 a night at the bunkhouse which is next to the track.
Ideally before september suits me since I'll be getting ready to go overseas after that and won't have time/$$$ spare for days such as this.

The one I'm looking at has the turbo issues sorted, so it's just a matter of replacing the oil pump with a non-gay one.
Oh yeah, then I'll need a set of track wheels + 4 semis.

So off the NSW guys, is many keen on grouping up and making the trek south? Winton is a good track for all sorts of cars and I've proven that you don't need stupid ammounts of power to be competitive. Otherwise, I guess we(I) will have go up north.

As I said, I'm keen providing I have a new car that is up to the task by the proposed date. At this point that doesn't seem like an issue, so yes, I'd be keen on travelling down in a pack.
August seems like a good time for it, tbh.

Suppose it comes down to numbers in the end. For example if there were 6 people from NSW and 3 from VIC it makes more sense to have it in NSW or vice versa.

And for all you Vic boys needing Semi Slicks PM me. I don't advertise it in here very loudly but I work for Kumho Tyres Australia. I wont be much cheaper if at all, but with sizes in the KU-36 hard to get I get first call before the retailers do.

No need for $50 bucks Trung, I will go and happily help you put the NSW boys back in there place. Even if there are quicker we still have the Melb Storm and a bit of silverware they want. Just name the weekend and I will get time off work to make it happen.
As for Micko's free food and funny jokes count me in to giving him a hand to get him up there

Help
