does it work mate? dont think the water journals line up the same, correct me if mistaken. if it works use the bigport ecu or rather an aftermarket ecu will definitely work better

It will bolt straight on all 4a blocks.

All bigport and smallport heads are interchangeable.

You can run either ecu but it is best to match the smallport ecu with smallport injectors

and vice versa as the smallport injectors are larger and if ran with a big port ecu will run rich.

And will run lean if a smallport ecu is ran with bigport injectors.

Its because the bigport injectors are 182 cc and the smallports are 235 cc. http://www.club4ag.c...cifications.htm

Technically the smallport ecu flows more fuel, when matched with the correct 235cc injectors.

So whatever ecu u choose match the injectors.

Hope this helps.

yes it works, i did the same thing when i blew my engine up, i got a smallport bottom and rebuilt it, rebuilt the biport head, rund the bigport ecu, so i didn't have to mess around with wiring and put some cams in, and got a good sounding fast 4age..
