Hi all,

I've been a Corolla owner for the last 9 years and this year I finally got one that I really wanted. A very clean 1992 Series 2, AE93 SX Seca.

Waited until the right one came up and got it this May from a guy that had really looked after it. Stoked!

It was absolutely STOCK, same as the day it came from the factory. While keeping the stock wheels, I have put a nicer set of wheels on it and replaced/lowered the ageing suspension. Kings Lows and KYB struts all round. Exhaust has had some minor changes and sounds great around town but drones on the highway so something will change with that very shortly

I have a stealth sound install, Alpine Head unit and amp along with Eclipse speakers around the cabin and a 12 inch Kicker Sub in the back. All looks factory!

It drives like it's new and I shall be looking after this one for a while I think. Too nice not too. I spend half the year OS so this one gets put to bed for 6 months at a time. Always look forward to coming home for a drive.

Matt

Here's a few new photos from the other day, toying around with some lighting techniques and my camera gear that's worth more than my car.
Had the tinting replaced recently, remote added to the central locking as well as an immobiliser.
It's still clean as, drives great and puts a smile on my face.

Cheers :-) I wanted to do it justice. It's pretty straight and clean. Not doing too bad for a car that's 19 years old with over 250k on the clock

A couple more for good measure. This car spends 5 months of the year in the Snowy Mountains. So it should probaby get a photo there.

They are Advanti Racing 16 inch. I can't remember the name of the rims off the top of my head. They're 205/45- 16's. I'll try and see if I can find the name of the design

I found these while going through my photos today.

Ever fancied your Rolla in the snow? This one has had many a freezing. Brrrr......

Replaced the side repeaters for clear ones (inc orange bulbs last week. Much cleaner. Looking at it now, wondering why Toyota never bothered to colour code the door handles after doing everything else?
New headlight bulbs in as well, much clearer and whiter, same voltage. Perfect.
Had the windscreen replaced under insurance. Got a little peppered for my liking. New one is better.

Now to dream bigger.....

a six speed....
20 V ?
GZE ?
or keep it stock. Hmm, the tough things we ponder
