g,day guys
happy new year to you all.

im a newbie here.

im melb subs,victoria

anyway,i have a ae-92 '94 model corolla sedan.

it has disk brake rear end,roll cage,coil overs,bigger sways barsf&r,17" rims e.c.t

it has currently a 4afe twin cam engine with t50 5 speed box

i have a 2/1/4" ss mandrel pipes,high flow cat,magnaflow muffler,extractors.

im a bit confused/ undecided on which engine upgrade package to find buy as a upgrade of power /perf /speed.

power wise i wanted to get was around 200-250 plus hp at wheels.!!

is this sort of powe rbe quick in a ae-92 roller ??

so,which engine shouldi be looking at buying please??

i guess it has to be turbo/or super charged for this 200-250 plus horsepower ,correct ??

i would of luved to fit a rotary engine, but just a dream, prob not possble ??,being fwd car !!!

there seems to be many types of engines toyota made,
a4age
4ageuz
20 v blk/silver top engines

another query /concern what gear box to run with it that will hold upto the power increase ??,t50 would not handle all that extra power ??

should i go l.s.dbox if i can find ??, what about the ae111/2 6 speed l.s.d ??

where is best motor wreckers in melb to buy a complet half cut package please for this engine im after ??

please reply soon guys,thanks
cheers

mate i would go with a 4agze and wack a turbo on there as this would be the cheapest method of makein your required power output.
as for a gearbox the E series gearbox the comes attched to the 4agze can handle upwards of 250kw

Thinking legally if it is 1994, you have to get the latest 4age engine as engineers hate engines later than the car production date unless the ae92 came in the 4age trim. I think the last 4age engine before they went into 20v in Australia was 1995. So I think you just scrape in if you want a 4age unless other ae92 models came with 4age production. Do some research on the production vehicles of Australia and see.

Because my car is 1997 Toyota Corolla ae102 the engineer told me I can't place a bigport engine in due to the law. So I am opting for a 7age which is I leave the 7afe bottom end in, and put a silvertop head on top of the 7afe bottom. I can't put the bigtop head on the bottom end as the law still complies..lol.

Hope this helps!!!

Row

49 Views without a reply is a very serious problem, we need to nurture this poor soul instead of hating on him.

Just buy a new car, you wont have the patients to put a new motor in.
