Hi guys,
Yesterday I was driving my Corolla 4a-gze and following problem occured:
Once the enginemanagement-icon burned constantly on the dashboard. The engine runs very very rich and this you can obviously smell in de exhaust-gasses.
Beside that the engine runs very bad and it feels like he would be killed as soon as I would try to accelerate. Maximumspeed is not higher than 120 km/ hous on the dashboard, whem I am driving up a hill the speed decreases to about 90 km/h!!!! When I check the turboboostpressure-unit I see that the nail is almostly dead. So no superchargerpower anymore. Normally the sc reached about 0.9 bar pressure with the oversized pulley.
Does anyone recognize this problem and who can tell me what it is????
Please help me!
Tonight I will drop a link from youtube on whitch you can see the problem while I am driving.
Thanks

Id be checking your diagnostic codes. Your engine is prob in "limp home mode". The light is on because there is a problem somewhere with a sensor or signal and the computer is basicly limiting its performance to save the engine from harm.
Only reason to drop boost is if the belt is slipping, the supercharger has died, leak in intercooler/hoses, or the supercharger clutch is stuffed or being switched off by the computer.
