hey just wondering if anyone know's if there are any bucket seats that fit straight onto the stock rails of a ae82 1987 corolla?

Get one of those plastic chairs, rip the legs off and tech screw it on to the floor pan. Easy.

How do they hug in corners? Is there a FAQ for this mod anywhere?

Nah theres no FAQ because its so easy!
If you have some fat blokes in the back seat im sure they can give you a good hug around corners.... if thats what youre into
