I bought my Seca about a month or two ago. I've been cleaning it up since and would love it looking & running great, but the only problem is my passenger side door. The previous owner had an accident and as a result the door sits further towards the back and when the door opens to a certain point, it drops about an inch, so it doesn't line up. Where the door is attached to the car by its hinges it's been pushed inwards, so I'm looking for some honest opinions on how to fix it (if it can be fixed), that won't cost me thousands. At the moment the most popular idea seems to be to cut the bent part of the car out & weld in a new bit to attach the door to. Would love some input :)

Yeah I've been looking for a new guard :) & that's an idea, I'll try focusing on the hinges, see if that works, if not I'll just make up new ones :) Thanks :)

Thanks lol :) & no progress has been made on the door front just yet, people just have so many ideas for me, so I've been focusing on other areas lol I've decided I'm gonna get a mate with a mig welder to make up some new custom hinges for my door so it sits right...can only hope that works lol, because if it does then I only have a little rubbing back and priming to do & the body will be ready :)

& yeah haha as a first car I'm pretty happy with its condition, plus I only paid 600 so :P
