4age 100kw wont start Can anyone help??? Rate Topic: -----

Hey guys ive got a toyota Corolla gti 4age 100kw motor i bought this car with the headgasket problem after replacing the gasket car wont start. Im not sure if the car use to start before the gasket was gone and timing is 100% right there is fuel and spark can anyone help much appreciated.

sumtimes it starts and runs perfect after a while it turns off and try starting again it doesnt wanna rev?

One of the cam gears is a tooth out.

Just did a 4A-FE belt 2 weeks ago & oopsied the same ;)

the car starts and idles it revs good but if i leave it idling for abit all of a sudden car turns off then gotta re start it.

May be the fuel pump?\\

Try increasing the idle by the throttle cable adj. lock nuts to a high idle = 1500ish RPM

If it cuts out at that, I'd say pump, mind you could be 10 other things too !

pump has been replaced already

Replaced the filter / carby cleaned the throttle body yet ?
