I have an AE82 with a first gen 4age and its having major missfiring problems

it first started when driving at 100kph (60mph) with lights and stereo on, its like its eather not getting enough fuel or theres no spark.
it would only at the start do it at high speeds (not high revs) but has slowly progressed to doing it at town driving speeds, but strangly wont do it so bad at lower revs in town or high revs. it will only do it at cruising revs. and now it does not matter if lights are on or not.
after taking it to 5 different mechanics, they can not find the problem.
the valve cover seal where leaking oil so i promply got them repaired and the car was fine.....for about 2 weeks then started again so i replaced the plugs and leads and agian fixed the problem for about 2 weeks, so then i replaced the coil pack again fixed it for around to weeks. then replaced the distributer and rotor button this again fixed it for a short time. then replaced the fuel filter and it was filthy just plane filthy (fuel fiter had fused to the fuel lines) so the metal fuel line had to be replaced. again fixed it for a short time. and just the other day i pulled out the third and fourth spark plug lead to find that there was oil again. so i cleaned it up, but the seals arnt gone so i susspected that it was not cleaned up when fixed. and the problem continues..........

so if you know what goen on with my car please help i am desperate as i love my little 4age. or if you have any ideas please help. thank you

Just because it's the cheapest thing you can do, put a "star" washer between ALL your earth strap points.

Get a bolt + star washer, put it through the earth strap then another star washer.

A good earth is well... Better than a bad one ! ;)
