Hey, I just brought a new CD Player and its a different brand to the old one so unfortunately I cant use the same loom, so I need to wire it up to the original wiring in the car,
Could someone tell me the original colours for the Ignition, Battery and Earth, I have the speakers sorted
Thanks heaps, cheers
The wiring was a mess with all different colours coming off different wires so i cut them back to the original wiring, just need to know whats what

ok seems nobody wants to help or knows the answer..... Maybe this will help the colours of the wires running FROM the car are
1 Yellow, 1 Yellow/white stripe
1 Blue, 1 Blue/white stripe... im guessing those 4 are speaker wires
1 Green/red stripe
1 Blue/yellow stripe
1 White/black stripe
Now tucked away but still on the same cluster of wires but not used with the previous install are
1 Light Green, 1 Light Green/white stripe
1 Purple, 1 Purple/white stripe...im guessing those4 are other speaker wires
1 Dark Green... This one i have no idea what its for
On the CD Player i have
Red ignition wire
Yellow battery wire
Black ground wire
Blue/white p.cont for my amp
C'mon guys someone must know, please

Have you made sure you got your 2 powers the right way around? Buy your self a test light and use it to make sure you have the right power source. Obviously the ignition wire will light up when the ignition is on and the constant will always be on. Make sure the earth wire you have found, is not a wire for something else. eg You think it might be an earth wire but when you turn your lights on, it could blow the fuse because its an active wire. Also check to make sure you didnt blow a fuse during install.
