Hey Guys,

I've been lurking for awhile now, but not posted. Mainly hunting the for sale forums.

Just brought a AE93 GTI with a 4agze in it for $1525.

Has been registered in VIC with engineers certificate previously, but is out of rego now.

Rare to find a AE93 GTI, let alone one with a ze in it.

I thought so, It had a stuffed knock sensor, but a replacement of that and its all good :) Just timing out alittle now, and needs a service (Charger oil too)

Goes really well, I don't like the rims, but there 215's so they'll stay until something new comes around, or I sell it.

Needs new interior, as its all sun faded and chipping off, but I'll get the interior from my SX and put that in. Its mint.

Suspention needs replacing, prolly go coilovers, and I'll grab the whiteline sway bars from the SX.

Heres a pic or two.

Its a winner!!!

1st Roadworthy inspection done, needs the following:

1 - Power steering leak - could be the rack or a pipe - havnt looked
2 - Rear demister doesn't work
3- Wheels too large and wide (even though there on the engineers cert)
4 - hand break.

thats it! Its less than the white one's roady was!! I'm wrapped!

Total investment so far
car: $1525
Detailing stuff: $36.50
RWC Inspection (1 & 2): $110

$1671.50
