hi,

I think i can be of some help here. i work for Ian Weigh Motors [we do Toyota, lexus & TRD] parts devision. We just got awarded silver for queensland. thats pretty good seeing we are in rockhampton...

Now, i just want to let you know that i have access to the complete to TRD and normal toyota parts & denso spark plugs
check it out below
TRD PARTS LIST

i also have full access to import parts too...

now i havn't asked my boss about this because i was going to do this in my lunch break

also i can get aftermarket pannels [no bonnets though], lighting and windows to...

now i'm not doing this to make a profit, i'm doing this to help, because when i do my build up i'm going to need all the help i can get.

i can post parts out or put it on tnt or fastways,

if you want any parts please email me or PM me, and if it's realy urgent please mention so in the message. just include a vin number or model code cos this helps me not to guess...

thats all i can think of for now, please let me know if i can help out in any way.

Chris

The staff price on genuine parts is generally MUCH lower than retail or even trade price. Lets take for an example a water pump might retail for $180, Trade for $145, but the margin on some parts is so high that a staff member will get it for like $75. This Mr Revheads guy is probably doing parts for staff price, which is very nice of him.

themostat for 4af/4afe
retail: $26.90
my price: $15
Gasket to suit: $8.97

Sports thermostat that reduces the coolant temperature of high-performance engines to maximize performance.

By reducing the valve temperature by about 10 to 15ーC compared with that of a standard thermostat, the TRD sports thermostat increases coolant circulation and reduces performance bottlenecks caused by engine heat, to bring out the best in engine performance. (Maintains valve temperature of 71ーC.)

TRD thermostat will make an engine running on the stock ECU chew more fuel.

JP Just out of curiosity... how does that happen? i thought the thermostat was a simple heat sensitive valve... ie when hot = open

Contact Mark in New Zealand

parts@manawatu.toyota.co.nz

Please include in your E-mail the full model code and Frame number and put Toyspeed as the subject line. This will mean a quicker response back to you.
eg.
AE101-ACMZF
AE101-0025413

I got my 100k km service parts from him and paid $100s less than I would have from Southside Toyota.
