I saw a silver one at Castle Hill Motorcycles when I dropped my bike off for a service, was still there when I picked it up 2 days later.

Also stopped to get petrol last night after some cone weave practice (I can nearly do it! w00t!) and some random guy came up and started chatting about how he and his 4 brothers all bought an Across etc. Got slightly confused when he started describing where he lived.....

I found the Across that I saw, at petrol station in St Ives. :P
Had a chat to the rider (I won't mention his name yet), but H didn't know about these forums. I told him all about it.
He might show up soon.

His bike was Red, 93 model, with quite a few Ks on it.

Hopefully he'll come and increase our community soon.

damien was the name alex - - and yes although my bike was newer than yours it does have high kms on it and "a" scratch or two- but hey u get wat u pay for and it's all about putting k's on them. i am a lonley lil P plater -- have merely a few weeks to go before i get a full licence. i did know this sort of thing existed, and am a member of various other forums (i wont be rude and say) It is good however to see that there is a friendly welcoming place for all of us riding lil, although heavy, 250c bikes about town. I would indeed like to tag along for a ride with you all.

thanks alex for putting me on this site - i thought there must be one about but didn't know where, and now i know i'll be seeing u all agian shortly.

rubber side down :P

Hi damien

I remembered, I just thought it best to keep it a secret :D (at least until you arrived)

hopefully we can organise a group ride sooner or later where lots of people can go.

I know the one.

The Yellow wheels are totally non-standard m8, I think they are off an RGV.

The bike is owned by a Courier that works for a firm near the CBD, I see him a lot in the city.
