man, ive never seen one of them before, looks fantastic! whats the history of them? good luck with it in the future, and all the best
All Tercels/Corolla II/Corsa's were built at the Takaoka Plant in Toyota City*, Japan. My understanding is that only 6000 GP Turbo's were built. The chasis and body is based on the American tercel:

<--- one which has seen better days.
Australia never saw any Tercels/Corolla II/Corsa's besides the 4WD Tercel which is completely different all together. This means that all Tercels/Corolla II/Corsa's you see on Australia's roads have been imported.
Tercel: The Latin word for one-third. Also a fast-flying member of the falcon family whose males are one-third the size of the females.*
Toyota Tercel Product History <--- American however relates to the models seen in Australia
*All chronology dates are model year, unless noted otherwise. CY refers to "Calendar Year".*
