Forgive me .....
Although i rode a GSXR600 last week. and trust me there is no need to faster.....For most i guarantee you will run out of balls befor you reach the bikes limitt.
There is pleanty of torque speed and pick up.
I made a Porche feel missreable at the lights. And that makes me wonder if you only need the bike for commuting and weekend thrashing do you really need a 750-100... Gsxr600= 0-100 3seconds............
than again i have my gixxer 1000 waiting for pick up in 8 months...But i intend to race it every momment i get...
Insurance is also relatively cheeper on the 600 as opposed to 1000/
Lastly follow your need and purpose not your ego ...this can save your life ,big ego can kill
i lost a mate a months ago....i know as most here do

Ahh 600's are NOT cheaper to insure than 750's (cant comment on the 1,000's) for most riders. My 750 is 250 a year cheaper to insure than a 600 of the same year model, yet my bike is worth more. And I am a rider over 30 (ok, only just). Most insurance companies associate 600's with new inexperienced riders, and while I agree that a litre bike is definately not suited to a first time upgrade from a 250. Depending on a riders true abilities and experience a 750 sometimes is. Besides, the litre gixxer is a pig to handle compared to the 600 & 750's. I oughta know, been giving the BA club pres a hard time on his litre gixxer. He needs the straights to play catchup, on the track of course
